We have a mix of native Beef animals, including Shorthorn, Gallaway, Longhorn and British White.

One of the benefits of being a small farm is that we are able to name all our animals. Some of our cows include Delia (after Delia Smith), Gerty, Georgi, Mary (Berry) and Lola (the Show Girl!).

Our calves are born between December and April every year. We aim to calve them inside as this allows us to keep a close eye on them in the latter stages of their pregnancy and means we can quickly offer assistance if needed during calving.

As soon as it has warmed up and the grass has grown outside, our cows and their young calves are let out to roam the lush green fields.

Our calves stay with their mothers all summer, giving them the benefit of their mother's milk to help them grow. They are separated in Autumn when they are sufficiently matured. These beef animals are then slowly grown and matured. We believe this process of slow growing adds an increased depth of flavour to the meat and improves quality.

All the beef we supply is born, raised, hung and butchered on our farm. This allows us to be a part of every aspect of the beef's development and means we can ensure the upmost quality products are available for you to purchase.

All our beef is grass fed and dry aged for a minimum of 21 days.

We sell our beef  all year round from the freezer. Alternatively, you can pre-order our fresh meat for pre-arranged delivery.
