Pork is dry cured using a blend of salt, spices and brown sugar creating a bacon without nitrates. As the cure doesn’t contain nitrates or nitrites, once cooked the bacon will resemble a pork colour rather than the traditional pink bacon colour.

Our pork is outdoor reared allowing them to naturally graze and forage in our fields, as they have for hundreds of years. This means that the pork has a rich variety of diet and is allowed to mature at its own pace resulting in a traditional pork meat taste.
